Thank you for taking the time in checking out PerformanceEDU’s first live post. Let me give you a little background of myself:

Marc Digesti has extensive educational background in Performance Training and is certified through USA Weightlifting/Sports Performance Coach. In May of 2004, Marc received his B.S. in Exercise Physiology from California State University , Chico, with an emphasis in strength and conditioning.

Marc has had an extensive training background in the past 5 years. Starting in 2005, Marc was offered an internship at Athletes Performance in Los Angeles. During his tenure at APLA, he was able to shadow, and assist the 2005 NFL Combine Preperation Class. In 2006, Marc made his way back to Reno to work closely with Rob Conatser and help the Sierra Strength and Speed brand grow. In 2007, Marc was offered an opportunity to challenge his knowledge in the performance field with the US Disabled Ski Team. During the season, Marc traveled with the USDST to the competition venues to continue the regeneration, rehabilitation, and prehabilitation programs. Every third month, the team would travel to the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado where Marc designed the camp logistics and the physical assessment protocols while administering the strength testing with the OTC staff. During Marc’s time with the USDST, he also worked for Todd Durkin at Fitness Quest 10. In 2008, Marc was apart of the start up for the first Core Performance Center in Santa Monica, Ca. During the summer of 2008, he worked part time at Athletes’ Performance with the NHL summer training class.

Marc’s training philosophy is to evaluate the body in a 3 dimensional format, understand the bodies entire kinetic chain, prescribe and implement specific exercises and progressions to maximize athletic performance and life longevity.
